At Knox PR, we’re human. We're not perfect—so you'll catch us with rough edges from time to time.
However, if we commit to your project, you’ll always get our best. If we stumble, we’ll own it, fix it, and focus on recovering well—no excuses. Trust, taking ownership, and how we handle the bumps in the road matter most to us.

Most of our clients come to us by referral. We work with authors and people who value relationships and results, just like we do. That means we’re selective—our reputation is built on the company we keep and the results we get them. Still, if you have a project we can believe in, don’t hesitate to reach out. We want to hear your story.

Public relations is built on relationships. Since we’re both considering teaming up to take on something big (maybe even impossible in some eyes), we’ve made our Code of Conduct public. You deserve to know exactly what we believe and how those beliefs guide everything we do.

We do our best to be clear, direct, and truthful in every conversation. If your goals aren’t something we can deliver, we’ll tell you. If something sounds unrealistic, we’ll say so. If we believe your time, money, or energy would get better results elsewhere, we’ll let you know. And if we mess up, we’ll make it right.

Integrity
Our core staff members do their best to always act ethically and honestly. We’re upfront about what you can expect from us and how we work. We keep our proprietary strategies, contacts, and methods confidential—protecting the unique ways we bring you results. We’re selective about who we work with and we will part ways with anyone who doesn’t share our values. When possible, we will sever ties quietly to preserve their dignity. While our core team upholds these values consistently, we do work with vendor partners, temporary staff, and occasionally new team members who may still be aligning with our culture. We do our best to catch issues early, but if something goes wrong, we’ll own it and do what’s needed to make it right.
Mutual Respect
We treat everyone—clients, colleagues, partners, and the public—with respect and dignity. We expect the same in return.

Real Communication
We believe in clear, timely, and honest conversations. We listen, give feedback, and don’t shy away from tough talks—internally or with you. We will, however, keep them private.

We’re committed to high-quality work. That’s why we only take on a select number of clients at a time, so each one gets our best work.

Realistic Assessments
We’ll give you our honest, professional opinion about what’s possible—and what’s not—before you commit. We use the best info we have, and we’re not afraid to say “no” if that’s realistic.

Shooting for the Impossible
Though we aim to be realistic, we also aim for the impossible (realistically, of course). We believe everything can be done—it just requires the right game plan. (Flying was impossible at one point, after all.) Once that plan is created, you’ll decide if the time, money, and effort are worth the result. We’re never afraid to push locked doors and try a thousand different ways to accomplish the goal. When you believe in your clients’ power to change the world, “impossible” is just the starting line. Still, we balance this ambition with grounded realism.

Privacy & Discretion

When you become a client, you’ll see how we work—up close and personal. We stand behind the work we do, and many of our clients are happy to vouch for us. If you’d like a reference, just ask.

That said, we keep our proprietary methods, strategies, and internal processes private. We don’t share client lists, confidential techniques, or our “secret sauce” on social media or anywhere else.
​
We’re here to back your mission from behind the scenes— we are not here to chase the spotlight ourselves.

Complaint Resolution
If something’s not right, tell us. We’ll listen, get outside expert opinions if needed, and work to resolve it quickly and fairly. Please email management@knoxpr.com to report complaints.

No Refunds
Due to the high level of back-end work happening behind-the-scenes, we do not issue refunds. Since most of our clientele is referral based, we will always work with you to make things right.

Confidentiality
Your information is safe with us. We won’t share it without your permission. Like you, we’re tenacious in all the right places—this means we often stumble upon unique and creative ways to accomplish tasks. If we find a “few travel on this path” technique, we keep it to ourselves. We value innovative ideas and expect our clients to keep these confidential as well. Likewise, all confidential conversations and internal matters stay strictly internal.

Compliance
We follow the law, respect your rights, and protect your intellectual property.

Fair Competition
We compete honestly. No shortcuts, no shady tactics. We aim for win-win for all our clients, partners, and vendors. Our creativity and tenacity are our unfair advantage.

Reporting Misconduct
If you see something off, email compliance@knoxpr.com. We’ll handle it seriously and confidentially.

We take this Code seriously. If someone at Knox PR crosses the line, alert us immediately and we will address it—no blame, no excuses, just action.

To protect our standards and your results, we keep our client list short. Quality comes first.
